An ATP detection swab is a rapid microbial detection consumable based on bioluminescence. It is widely used for quick screening of surface cleanliness and microbial contamination in scenarios such as food processing, healthcare, cleanrooms, and catering. Its core function is to rapidly determine the level of microbial residues on the tested surface.
ATP detection swab with a unique, integrated liquid reagent that combines sample collection and reaction in one step, making operation exceptionally simple. The product has a shelf life of 12 months when stored at 2–8°C, or 6 weeks at room temperature (below 25°C). It does not require frozen storage and offers significant advantages over traditional dry-cold luminescence assays, including superior accuracy and repeatability, excellent stability, and resistance to fluctuations in ambient temperature. The swab is pre-moistened, which further minimizes contamination during the operational process.
